The Season Two winner - known as much for her non-diva-ish temperament as her consistent display of creativity and talent - will launch "Simply Chloe Dao" on QVC in May.
After emigrating to Houston, Texas from Pakse, Laos in 1979, Chloe Dao's parents naturally encouraged Dao her seven sisters to study hard and pursue sensible careers. However, after watching her first episode of CNN's Style with Elsa Klensch at the tender age of 10, Dao had other plans.
The graduate of NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology went on to win Season 2 of Bravo's Project Runway, thanks to her consistent display of creativity and design talent. After a long journey of ten months, she emerged the winner, beating out 15 designers overall, and three finalists during New York's Olympus Fashionweek.
In addition to Lot 8, her Houston boutique named for the eight Dao siblings where she sells her own designs, she's bringing her fabulousness to QVC with a line of contemporary sportswear. Simply Chloe Dao will debut exclusively on QVC in May, featuring chi-chi silk tanks, tunics, print silk dresses – including a replica of her creation designed for the final, runway challenge of Project Runway – at non chi-chi prices ranging from $30 to $75.

"Chloe's fashion and design expertise will bring a fresh new perspecitive to our fashion business," notes Annette Repasch, vice president of merchandising for QVC. "We are confident that her affable personality and inspirational story will resonate with our viewers."
